Charis Campus Course List - First Year

Two subjects are covered in this class. The Integrity of the Word expounds on the truth, surety, and infallibility of God’s Word. Christian Philosophy shows us that we all have a system of thought but challenges us to examine if it is according to the Word or the world.
The Christian life includes physical health for all who believe. It is as much God’s will that we be physically whole as it is that we be born again. Before anyone can have faith for healing, they must be certain of God’s will. Faith cannot go beyond the knowledge of God’s will and God’s ways in the area of health and healing. This course will establish principles for health and healing and will explain healing in terms of the spirit, soul, and body of man. We will learn what is required of us as faith- filled Christians, and what is God’s part in the process of receiving health in our bodies.
In the Life Foundations course, you will learn 6 key foundational truths that will revolutionize your relationship with God, empower you to overcome every attack of the enemy, and give you the ability to minister to anyone, at any time about anything. The most important part of a structure is its foundation. These truths will help you establish a firm foundation in the Word of God.
This class teaches about our Spirit, Soul, and Body and Identity in Christ. Spirit, Soul, and Body is a study that explains how our spirits are complete in Jesus if we are born again and how our souls and bodies should relate to our spirits. The Identity in Christ study shows us from Scripture who we are in Christ— our righteousness and justification.
In this course you will come to understand the relationship between the children of Israel possessing the Promised Land, and believers possessing the ‘Land of Promises.’ What does it mean to possess the Truth, possess eternal life, our new identity in Christ, our thought life, and God’s prosperity? Finally, how do we drive out the enemy who comes to steal, kill and destroy?
This course is designed to help students develop the right relationship with money and run the love of money out of their soul. Jesus tells us in Luke 16 that faithfulness in that which is least– money–will qualify us to be entrusted with true riches–eternal souls. These lessons will establish the student in the purpose of prosperity; identify the real enemies of prosperity; and teach the right attitudes to develop toward finances.
These are exciting classes that discusses the person and the work of the Holy Spirit. Not only will you learn how He has worked throughout history, but how He works in your life.
Guilt, Condemnation, and Fear seem to be the motivating factors that define many Christian’s lives. Guilt, Condemnation, and Fear have been passed down from generation to generation because believers have been ignorant to the Heart or “Essence” of the Gospel, and for generations people have struggled to believe the truth of the “Almost too Good to be True Gospel.” Because of the ignorance and lack of understanding concerning the “Essence” of the Gospel, very few people know and relate to God the way that He is revealed in the New Testament. The “Essence” of the Gospel is all about God revealing His goodness, love, mercy, grace and forgiveness and true nature to a tired, worn out, and hopeless world!
The purpose of this course is to understand what grace and faith is and how they operate in our relationship towards God and how they operate towards those around us in our daily life. This course is designed to bring the Christian into a balance of receiving God’s grace by faith and demonstrating that grace to all those around us.
God's very first words to man connects our success in life to our fruitfulness (Gen. 1:28). The kind of fruit each believer is called to produce is described in Gal. 5:22-23. This is a picture of the life and nature of Jesus. This course is an in-depth study of each aspect of the fruit of the Spirit. You will learn the purpose, the rewards, and the means to fully develop and manifest the fruit of the Spirit in your life and ministry.
This course will show what the Bible says about God's plan and purpose for marriage.
Romans—the revelation of righteousness. The Book of Romans is considered by many as the greatest exposition of Christian Doctrine anywhere in the Bible. The revelation of righteousness is the revelation of the gospel. In this class we see the need for the provision of, the way to, and the power of righteousness revealed in Christ and received by faith.
Delve into the truths about God and about man’s relationship with Him. Discover one of the major barriers to experiencing all of His promises. Learn to distinguish between God’s character and His acts, contrasting the Old Testament with the New Testament. This course covers The Nature of God, Hardness of Heart, Authority of the Believer and God's Not Guilty.
Communicating with God is a major part of our relationship with Him. This course is about what prayer can be like in light of the New Covenant. Topics include friendship with God, worship, hearing His voice, praying for others, and doing what we see the Father do. There will be a focus on scriptural examples and real-life application.
This is an overview of the Old Testament. In this class, students will study the author, historical setting, purpose, and theme of each book; special attention is given to some of the key passages.
Paul’s inspired letter which is often referred to as the “Magna Carta” of Christian liberty is reviewed and studied in terms of its great themes: grace, revelation, our identity in Christ, faith, the Law vs. the blessing of Abraham, and life in the Spirit.
A course designed to inspire confidence in the Bible as the Living Word of God by understanding its 1) revelation, 2) inspiration, 3) compilation, and 4) preservation.
Bible doctrine will be covered in this course. Subjects include The Scriptures Inspired, One True God and The Trinity, The Deity of Jesus Christ, The Fall and Salvation of Man, The Present-Day Ministry of the Holy Spirit, Divine Healing, The Return of Jesus Christ for His Church, and Heaven & Hell.
According to III John 2 our physical health and financial prosperity are linked to the relative prosperity of our soul. In this course you will learn the keys to establishing a prosperous soul. Some of these principles are finding rest in the presence of Jesus, removing judgments, having a right relationship with authority, being anchored in hope, walking in patience, etc. We will cover these and other essential principles with the end goal of your soul becoming prosperous.
In this course, faith is defined and examined as well as what faith is not. There is a vertical side of faith which is faith towards God, however there is also a horizontal side of faith which is the walk of faith in our natural life. This course will expound on both sides of faith because both are needed to bring about God’s plan and purpose in the earth.
This course is applicable for any believer who wants to be trained in “how to minister” to those in need of healing, providing instruction not only on what the Bible says about healing, wholeness and health, but also how to minister to those dealing with sickness and disease. This is practical hands on training and will be a catalyst for a more effective healing ministry in Jesus name.
This insightful study through the first five and a half chapters of Ephesians will cover the foundational steps that Apostle Paul laid out before his often-quoted statements about putting on the spiritual armor. This course will enlighten new scriptural truths and empower you to become more than a conqueror in spiritual conflict.
This course is a study of various ethical and moral issues from a Biblical perspective that affect a Christian’s walk with God and influence with others, including those outside the church.
These are powerful classes that discuss the person and the ministry of Jesus. Not only will you learn how He ministered, but how we can follow His example and apply it in our life and work for the Lord.
When we talk about freedom, it means different things to different people. For many believers, freedom in a Christian’s life is only achieved through great sacrifice and hard work. When we have sacrificed and labored long and hard enough, we are ultimately rewarded with freedom: freedom from sin or freedom from bondage such as drugs, alcohol, pornography or whatever we perceive freedom to be. In this teaching we will discover that freedom in the New Testament is a gift. Whenever you study the subject of freedom, as seen in the New Testament, there is a fundamental reality that we must understand about true freedom—in Christ we are all born free.
Come to understand how great God’s love is for you. Experiencing God’s love is not about what you do for Him, but accepting the love God is, has, and continues to demonstrate to you! Learn how the Word declares love over your life.
In this class we are going to learn how to discover and live in the fullness of what God has for us. Focusing on the truth and the revelation we find in the word of God, we will renew our minds and learn to live our lives by the power that dwells within us.
Be equipped to confidently communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost, to grow in your understanding of the kingdom, and to disciple new believers. Covers topics such as salvation, eternal life, baptisms, identity, and the power of a Spirit-filled life.

Before joining the course I had certain misconceptions about the nature of God. I was fearful of God and did things out of self performance in order to please God but I ended up being exhausted, confused and a defeated life. The lesson on righteousness through grace in DE had a profound impact on my understanding. In my 32 years of ministry, I had never heard of this concept before, so it was an eye-opener for me. The revelation in 2 Corinthians 5:21 states "For our sake he made him be sin who knew no sin so that in him we might become the righteousness of God." Jesus became sin not by committing any sinful actions, and the same applies to us becoming righteous through Him, without any righteous actions of our own.

Andrew Wommack

Andrew Wommack was born on April 30th, 1949. Andrew and Jamie Wommack were married in 1972 and they have two sons and one granddaughter. He founded Andrew Wommack Ministries in 1978 and Charis Bible College in 1994. Andrew teaches across the country and the world through Conferences, Charis Bible College, and his TV show: The Gospel Truth – All with the desire to reach far and deep with the Gospel focusing on God’s unconditional love and grace.

Billy Epperhart began in ministry in 1978 and gained experience as a youth pastor and senior pastor. As a CEO and Founder of his own real estate company, he owned and supervised a multi-million-dollar real estate portfolio located in five different real estate markets. Billy is also a public speaker who has authored seven books. Billy is now the CEO of Andrew Wommack Ministries, Charis Bible College and Truth and Liberty. His two nonprofits; WealthBuilders and Tricord Global, help people to make sense of making money for making a difference.

Mike and Carrie Pickett were married in 2006 and have two children. They lived sixteen years in Russia as full-time missionaries. Carrie graduated from Charis Bible College in 1999 and moved to Russia to plant a Charis Campus, where Mike would get connected and eventually direct Andrew Wommack Ministries, Russia. Now they are the Vice Presidents of Charis Bible College as well as instructors, dedicated to using the Word of God to raise up leaders.

Wendell Parr

Wendell Parr was born on March 19th, 1943. Wendell and Linda were married in 1963 and have two children, one grandchild, and two great-grandchildren. Wendell started in ministry in 1973 when he began pastoring a church. He became connected with Andrew Wommack in 1989 at the Minister’s Conference in Buena Vista. He would go on to help Andrew start Charis Bible College in 1994 as well as plant the first international Charis campus in England in 1997. Wendell continues to teach at Charis Bible College and holds the title of Ministry Ambassador; sharing the Word of God and encouraging believers to keep their eyes on Jesus.

Barry Bennett

Barry Bennett was born on August 18th, 1952. Barry is a graduate of Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, Texas. He and Betty Kay were married in 1978 and have three children and eight grandchildren. Barry began in the Ministry in 1978 as a missionary in Mexico, and would go on to serve for 12 years in Chile and Guatemala. Barry was introduced to Andrew Wommack through his radio show and came to work at Andrew Wommack Ministries in 2007 and is now the Senior Instructor at Charis Bible College, Woodland Park, ministering on many topics focusing on the goodness of God and hearing His voice.

Greg Mohr

Greg Mohr was born on December 4th, 1951. He is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training Center, and has earned a master’s degree in leadership from Southwestern Christian University. Greg and Janice were married in 1971 and have four children and twelve grandchildren. He began in ministry in 1976 through street ministry, a bus ministry, as well as being a children’s pastor. Greg served as senior pastor of River of Life Church in Decatur, Texas, for twenty-four years. He heard Andrew’s teaching on a cassette tape in 1981 and from there invited him to speak at his church every year. He now serves as Executive Director of A.R.M.I. as well as teaching at Charis Bible College, helping students grow in wisdom, Christlikeness, and grace.
